For this method we print the design onto special paper which is then cover
coated. The print is then treated as a water slide transfer and is then applied
to the item by hand. This process is much slower and more labour intensive
resulting in longer lead times.
This method is best suited to the below designs:
• Producing larger than average prints
• Working with bone china
• Printing in 4-colour process
• Cases where there are more than 4 line colours, very fine detail or tight
registration is required.
